Emily grew up in Rhode Island with a love of the East Coast's historical architecture and interior details. She knew from very early on that she had a passion for creating, and immersed herself in art classes and creative outlets. Although she started as a student of fine arts, Emily quickly found her passion in interior design, being drawn to balancing form and function, and enhancing the way people live.

Founded in 2017 by Emily Healy, Healy Interiors is a boutique interior design studio with a passion for creating timeless, inviting, and personalized spaces. The studio’s designs are influenced by Healy’s background in fine arts, a love for East Coast historical charm, extensive traveling, and her experience living across various regions of the United States, allowing her to offer a fresh and unique perspective to her projects.

Through listening, creating, and mutual inspiration, Healy helps clients realize their ideal living spaces and then brings them to life by focusing on principles of good design—no matter the style. With previous work experience as lead designer and project manager for high-end design-build firms, Healy specializes in gut renovations, new builds, and whole-room revamps. The studio takes meticulous care to ensure that each part of the project is executed seamlessly through to completion, no matter the size. With a love of natural materials, a layered aesthetic, and innovative design ideas and products, Healy weaves together spaces that are all at once luxurious and approachable.
